Delma Jacquez

Delma M. Jacquez 69, of Odessa, Tx. passed away Saturday February 12,2022 at Medical Center Hospital.  Delma was born on October 13,1952 in Monahan’s, Tx. to Vicente J and Merced Tavarez Marin. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She married Guadalupe Rodriguez Jacquez July 29,1974 in Odessa.

She loved playing piano and would play for her father while he would lead the church choir. She graduated from Ector High school in 1972.

Delma is preceded in death by her parents: Vicente J and Merced T Marin, and daughter Monica Merced Jacquez.

Delma is survived by her husband of 47 years of marriage Guadalupe R Jacquez, daughter Veronica M Hatfield and husband Jason, and son David V. Jacquez all of Odessa Tx., sister Rosaelia Gonzalez of Midland and Adelina Marin of Odessa, brothers Saul and Jose Marin both of San Angelo, Tx.

Delma leaves to cherish her memory 4 grandchildren Josue Jacquez, Jasmine Jacquez, Nathaniel Lopez Adrian Lopez all of Odessa Tx. and, niece Beatriz Adriana Romero, nephews Adrian Anthony Romero and Noe Zorro Gonzalez, and other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The Marin Jacquez family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and phone calls and messages. She was loved by many.

Visitation is set for Thursday February 17, 2022, from 1PM-9PM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Masks are required upon entering the funeral home.

Funeral service is set for 11AM Friday February 18, 2022, at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Mike Bartlett officiating.

Burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Jason David Hatfield, Josue Ramon Jacquez, Isaiah Matthew Sanchez, Josiah Michael Romero, Adrian Anthony Romero, Christopher Lambardi, Noe Zorro Gonzalez, and Beatrice Adriana Romero.
