Deborah Ann Pryor passed from this world on October 21, 2025 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX. Deborah (Deb) was born December 15, 1959, in Kermit, TX to Austria (Chee-Chee) and Mayola (Hunter) Pryor.
She attended school in Kermit and graduated from Kermit High School in 1978 where she was active in volleyball and track. Deborah then attended West Texas University in Canyon, TX. She began her work career at West Texas Children’s Home in Pyote, TX where she touched the lives of many youths until retirement in 1994. She then worked at Kermit High School until retirement in 2005. She loved to cook and bake for everyone and was known for her pound cakes and peach cobblers. Deborah treasured pending time with her family and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Arnsworth; granddaughter, Alaina Richelle; four sisters, Lois Pryor, Edna Pryor, Juanita Pryor and Earnestine Pryor Walker (Vincent); four nephews, Marlon Baker, Anthony Brazell Jr., Christopher Walker and Jamari Walker; nieces, Erma Robinson (Raymond); Porchia Brazell, and Diandria Walker; two great nieces, Azia Mayfield and Ella Mae Brazell; three great nephews, Davonte Montgomery, Jacob Brazell and Braylon Brazell; one aunt, Vivian Pryor; and a host of family, cousins, and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Austria and Mayola Pryor.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sienna Nursing and Rehabilitation for showing care and love to Deborah. The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you shall never pass away.
