Daniel Villalobos

Daniel Villalobos, 62, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away in Odessa, Texas after a long illness on December 8, 2021.

Visitation will be from 1 PM to 9 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021. A rosary will be held at 7 PM the same day.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, December 13, 2021, at Saint Joseph’s Church in Odessa, Texas. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Martinez Funeral Home.

Daniel was born in Pecos, Texas to Jesus (Seny) and Erlinda Villalobos on December 7, 1959. He attended Ector High School. He worked as a welder by profession. Daniel never met a stranger and deeply loved his children and grandchildren. He loved to dance and had an infectious smile. He enjoyed seeing the lakes in Fort Worth and always said that he wanted to go fishing. He enjoyed his dogs and viewing Cardinals every Morning. Danny always had his Bible at his side.

Daniel is preceded by death by his father Jesus (Seny) Villalobos, his brother Jesse Villalobos, and his brother-in-law Rudy Molina.

Daniel is survived by his daughter Christy Rodriguez and husband Sammy Rodriguez of Odessa, his daughter Monique Munoz and husband Anthony Rosaz of Spokane, Washington, his son Chanin Villalobos of Odessa, and his mother Erlinda Villalobos of Odessa. He is also survived by his sister Cindy Dineen and her husband John Dineen of Fort Worth, his sister Mary Lou Reyes and husband Jesse Reyes of Odessa, his sister Jolinda Molina of Odessa, and his brother Gilly Villalobos and Josie Villalobos of Odessa. Daniel is survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Daniel is also survived by his extended family Sally Gomez, Louie Gomez, Johnny Gomez and his wife Jennifer and their children, LJ, Jionni and Dream. He is also survived by Christy Gomez and husband Jose and their children Isaiah and Leilah.
