Corine Berry

Corine Pearl Berry left this world on July 29, 2021 in her hometown of Odessa, TX.

Corine was born February 16, 1937 to Ella and Fred Berry, the youngest of 11 children. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1955 before marrying the father of her two daughters, Jackie and Lucy. She worked as the head bookkeeper for Willis Permian Movers of Odessa, TX, for 22 years before retiring to enjoy her time with her granddaughter and her volunteer work with the Globe of the Great Southwest as a Juliet and sometime-bookkeeper.

She was so much more than that, though. She was a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a friend. She raised her younger daughter as a single mother, and she was the best.

Corine is preceded in death by her mother, father, 10 brothers and sisters, and her eldest daughter, Jackie Brooks.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Moorefield of Texas, her youngest daughter, Lucy Trosin of Oregon, her grandchildren, Samantha, Avery Heather, Sarah, Hope, and many more nieces and nephews and cousins that we can count.
