Brenda was born on January 14, 1967 to Jonathan Cooper and Ruby (Johnson) Miles in Odessa Texas.  She grew up in a loving family with three sisters and in a neighborhood with numerous great friends to run, play, and visit with. Brenda accepted Christ at a very young age and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church until her health declined.

When diagnosed with breast cancer, she remained dedicated in her work and in her will to fight her illness. She not once complained.  She was beautiful, funny, intelligent, and kind. One of her favorite sayings was “let me find out.”  She trusted God, and remained brave and strong, even throughout her final months. Brenda’s zeal, love, laughs, smiles, lipstick kisses on the cheek and hugs will always be remembered but greatly missed!
