Billy Pruitt

Billy Ray Pruitt of Odessa, Texas passed away on August 8, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 1pm-4pm at Martinez Funeral home.

A graveside service will be held August 19th at Ector County Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral home.

Billy Ray Pruitt was born on March 28, 1943 in Floydada, Texas to Emma Mae Porter and Garden Pruitt.

He attended public schools there. He worked for the County of McCamey for 20 years, where he retired.

Billy loved to dance and dress.  He always had his hat and shades on. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and just enjoying life.

Billy Ray Pruitt is preceded in death by his mother, Emma Mae Porter, his father Garden Pruitt and a sister, Vivian Ann Pruitt.

Billy is survived by a brother, Hubert Pruitt of Springdale, Arkansas and an aunt, Nettie Lee Boulding of Abilene, Texas, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
