Bibian Garcia, 96, of Presidio, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2026, in Alpine, Texas.

Bibian was born in El Chinati, Texas to Luciano Garcia & Tecla Carrasco Garcia on September 20, 1929. He married Trinidad Porras on December 11, 1952, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked and retired as a Cattle Inspector for the United States Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) for over 20 years.

Bibian is preceded in death by Trinidad Garcia and Ubaldo Garcia

He is survived by his children Viviano Garcia, Guadalupe Franco, Yolanda Nieto, Benito Garcia and Trinidad Villa, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation is set for Monday, September 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at  Martinez Funeral Home chapel.

Mass is set for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Frank Chavez officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ector County Cemetery in the Odessa II section.

Pallbearers will be Sergio Villa, Oscar Franco, Ubaldo Garcia, Jorge Nieto, Nathan Garcia and Ethan Villanueva.
