Benjamin Jimenez Olague "Ben", 59. of Odessa was called to our Heavenly Father Monday November 28th, 2022, in the presence of his youngest daughter and Son-in-law in El Paso Tx.

Ben was born October 1st, 1963, to Richard L. Olague and Mary Lou J. Olague in Odessa, Tx.

Ben is remembered as a big family Man that had a special bond with everyone. He was the life of the party and a huge Jokester. Not only did he have an amazing personality, but he was also known as the #1 cook and baker! He was especially famous for his" Biscochos" everybody had to have a batch!

Ben was a loving and caring Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. He has 5 grandchildren and soon to be adding another in January; He loved every single one of them unconditionally and was so excited to have another fishing buddy added to his team.

Ben's most favorite things to do were BBQ-Ing, watching his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys play, fishing, and listening to Classic rock. His top three favorite bands were "Kiss, ACDC, and Guns N'Roses". Ben also loved to Spoil his Chihuahua Oreo with lots of love & food.

The love Benjamin shared was unconditional, and the hugs he gave were very heartwarming. His jokes and laughs would light up the room and his presence was comforting. Benjamin was a very giving person and would give all he had. He leaves this world with amazing memories and stories to be cherished by his family forever.

Benjamin is proceeded in death by his Father Richard L. Olague, his Mother Mary Lou J. Olague, Sister Linda Natividad, Brother Sammy Olague, and Sister Celia Davila.

Ben is survived by his Daughters Brandi Jimenez and husband Bryan Jimenez, Gabby Gutierrez and husband Alex Gutierrez, Briana Rodriguez and husband Adam Rodriguez, son Freddie Patino, brother Ricardo L. Olague Jr., Sister Virginia De Leon, Grandchildren Lukah Benjamin Jimenez, Josiah Gutierrez, Jonah Gutierrez, Adaleah Rodriguez, Abigelle Rodriguez, Blu Rodriguez and many nieces and nephews that he loved so much.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Patino, Bryan Jimenez, Alex Gutierrez, Ricardo Olague Jr., Robert Olague, Justin Olague, and Ricardo Olague III.

The family of Benjamin Jimenez Olague wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and all staff at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso Tx. for caring for Benjamin and doing everything they could. We would also like to extend our thanks to the staff at Martinez funeral home for going above and beyond in ensuring all arrangements and needs were taken care of. They took the extra weight off our shoulders during a time we needed the most and for that we are grateful. Also thank you to everyone who helped our family in anyway during this time Benji was so grateful for you all.
