Bartolo Gomez

Bartolo Edward Gomez, 77 of Odessa Texas passed away of natural causes Saturday July 2, 2022. He died in his home where he resided for over half a century. Bartolo was born on July 4, 1944, to Manuel Gomez and Rita Pacheco in Fort Stockton Texas. He was a retired plumber who enjoy fishing and barbecuing.

Bartolo is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 56 years; Lucia Gomez, daughter; Amy Gomez, and 9 of his siblings.

He is survived by his children Bartolo E Gomez Jr; of Odessa Texas, Virginia Rios; Odessa Texas, and JoAmber Gomez of Lubbock Texas, his brother and best friend Joel Gomez; of Odessa, Texas, his brother Reynaldo Gomez; of Odessa, TX, and his brother Ventura Gomez; of El Cajon, California.

Bartolo leaves to cherish his memory 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation is set for 1pm-9pm Tuesday July 12, 2002, Martinez Funeral Home on Tuesday, with a Memorial Services at 6 PM. The family will be sharing their own stories of Bartolo.

Bartolo’s friends and loved ones are encouraged to attend a celebration of life at his home on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 6 PM.
