Barbara D. Dickens-Morris, 59 years old Odessa Tx. passed away on Friday May 16, 2025, in Odessa Tx in the comfort of her home

Barbara was born March 2,1966 in Crane Tx, by Bobbie Lane (Montgomery) and Willie Dale Morris. She went to school at Ector & Permian High Schools in Odessa Tx. She graduated from Permian High School. She attended Albuquerque NM Job Corp and received her CAN License. She worked as a CAN all over Midland and Odessa Tx.

Barbara is preceded in death by her mom Bobbie Montgomery and her dad Willie Dale Morris. Her sister Easter Savage, Brother Dave Morris, Brother-In-law Jason Lewis.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Shayla Dickens, her son George Dickens. Raymond, Blue, Eugene, William (Danky), Spencer, Willie Dale, and Craig were all her brothers. Wendy and Sandra (Bird) were her sisters. She has 4 grandchildren Noriember, Adyn, Emberlynn, George the 5th Dickens.

Visitation will be on June 2, 2025 from 1PM - 9PM with a Prayer service from 7PM - 8PM at Martinez Funeral Home Inside Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10AM June 3, 2025 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James U. Bolton of St. James Missionary Baptist Church. Officiating arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Spenser, Clinton, Thomas, Chris Marshall, Dave Morris, and Tarian Morris.

Honorary Pallbearers: Tevin Loud, Jalen Loud, Desmond Morris, Devin Loud, and William Jr. Morris.

The family of Barbara wishes to extend our Sincerest to Hospice and St. James Missionary Baptist Church as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
