In Loving Memory of Argelia Acosta Molinar

April 8, 1967 – September 15, 2026, It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Argelia Acosta Molinar, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 59. Argelia, will be lovingly remembered as a devoted daughter, loving sister, aunt, and faithful follower of Our Lord and Savior and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Her faith, love, kindness, and beautiful spirit, touched the lives of everyone, who had the blessing of knowing her. She loved music and dancing. She will be greatly missed and forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

She is survived by her loving mother, Lydia Acosta Molinar; her brothers, Rogelio Molinar, Ernesto Molinar, Jaime Molinar and his wife Jeannette Molinar, and Jorge Molinar and his wife Santos; her sisters, Amparo Molinar and Bertha Molinar; along with , her many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, who will continue to carry her memory, and love in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dolorez Molinar, and her beloved sister, Martha Lydia Molinar.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing at Martinez Funeral Home, 1040 S. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, Texas, on Thursday, September 17th, from1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 18th, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 612 E. 18th, Odessa, Texas. Service will be led by Fr. Beranardito Getigan.

At The Family`s Request, Cremation has been opted, to follow at a Later Date, 

May God welcome Angelia into His eternal Grace, shine his perpetual light and shine upon her and the warm embrace of Our Lady Virgin de Guadalupe watch over her and bring comfort to all those who mourn her passing.Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
