Alfredo “Freddy” Galindo Huertas 73, passed away Friday July 17, 2026. in Odessa. Freddy was born in Monahans, Tx to Mr. Ramon and Ms. Angelita Huertas on January 20,1953. He married Herlinda “Linda” Huertas on December 8, 1971, in Odessa, Tx. He worked as a Porter for Freedom GMC Truck & Suv for 15 years. As a young man, Freddy started working to provide for his family. He started working at Sewell Ford for many years then moved to Reedy Manufacturing and finished his last years at Freedom GMC. Freddy played softball with Los Chicanos when he was growing up. He also played Foosball and huachas. He loves hanging out with his family and friends Listening to oldies and his all-time favorite Michael Jackson. Feddy loved to dance and tell jokes, he always made everyone laugh. He also loved spending time with all his grandkids, great grandkids and his beloved wife Linda, he also loved playing Dice and loteria on the weekends, Freddy also loved working on his model cars, he loved drinking his favorite Natural Light and smoking his marble cigarettes.

Alfredo Huertas is preceded in death by His Parents Ramon and Angelita Huertas, Brothers Emilio and Raymond Huertas and Sisters Valentina Mata and Martha Huertas and In-laws Jose and Margarita Munoz.

Alfredo is survived by His wife Herlinda Linda Huertas, Daughter Carolyn Huertas, Sons Alfredo “Freddy” Huertas, Jr. Veronica, Marc Huertas, Destiny and 16 Grandchildren and Numerous Great-Grandchildren. He is also Survived by his Sisters Yolanda Garcia, Felicita Duenas, Susan Galindo, Martin, Sylvia Alaniz, Bobby.

Visitation is set for Tuesday July 21, 2026, from 1:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home.

Mass has been set for 10:00am Wednesday July 22, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church 907 S. Dixie Odessa, Tx, 79761 with the Father Bonaventure Anuforo.

Cremation will be at a later date.

Pallbearers are Joey Huertas, Christian Yanez, Raymond Nabarrete, Jimmy Munoz, Emilio Perales, Willie Balerio, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers: Joel Munoz, Jose Munoz Jr.
