Alfred Carrasco Lopez, 70 years old of Odessa Texas, passed away on March 3, 2024 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 9 PM at Martinez Funeral Home Monday, March 11, 2024 with a Rosary at 7 PM. A Chapel Service will be held 10 AM March 12, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Alfred Lopez was born in Pecos, Texas to Inez Lopez Sr. and Martina C. Lopez on May 18, 1953. Alfred attended school in Odessa. He married Grace S. Lopez on June 30, 1973 in Portales, New Mexico. He was a self-employed truck driver for 30 years.

Alfred Lopez is preceded in death by Inez Lopez Sr. and Martina C. Lopez, Inez Lopez Jr., and Sulema Casillas.

Alfred Lopez, survived by spouse Grace S. Lopez, children, Randy and Maria Lopez, Gary and Yvonne Huff, Eddy and Stephanie Markle, siblings, Eddie Lopez, Andy Lopez, Patricia Hernandez, Melinda Villareal, Sylvia Lopez, and Deanna Blanco; grandchildren Emmalynn Lopez, Nathalie Lopez, RJ Lopez, Serena Loy, Elijah Loy, Samira Loy, Giovann Huff, Keoni Huff, Evan Markle, Ethan Markle; great grandchildren Azalea Jade Broughton.

The Lopez family would like to thank family and friends, Home Hospice Odessa, the nurses at Medical Center Hospital, and Martinez Funeral Home for helping us navigate through these difficult times.

Alfred had a light heart and spirit, he was loved by many. He will never be forgotten.
