Lily "La Blecky" Alvarado, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 31, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, In Odessa Texas.

Visitation will be held Thursday January 3, 2019 from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at Martinez Funeral Home

Mass will be celebrated Friday January 4, 2019 At St Joseph's Catholic Church at 1:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery, Peaceful Gardens Section.

Lily "La Blecky" Alvarado was born in Kenedy, Texas to Carolina Lopez and Adolfo Sanchez on May 25, 1940. She went on to marry Regino Alvarado. Lily loved her children and especially loved our Lord. She was a devout Catholic and loved to worship and praise God every morning in her kitchen with her windows open. Lily was a mother to all that met her. Her home was always open and full of family, friends, and laughter. Her goal in life was to instill the love of Christ into those that she came in contact with her. Lily will be tremendously missed.

Lily is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Regino Alvarado, and her beloved son Jerry Sanchez.

Lily is survived by her daughters Carrie, Olivia, and Felo. Sons Eddie, Larry, Joe, and Orlando. Her brother Raul Coy and sister MaryLou Vasquez. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory 24 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and even several great-great grandchildren!

Pallbearers will be Juan Urgiri, Daniel Chavez, Raul Coy Jr., Alfred Knight, Frankie Munoz, Xavier Martinez Jr., and Jeremy Baeza.

The family of Lily Alvarado wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all those that have been with us in this time of sorrow. We deeply appreciate each and every one of you.
