Edward "Wowie" Hinojos

Edward R. “Wowie” Hinojos, 59, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Sunday August 11, 2019 in his Odessa home.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM–9:00 PM , Tuesday August 13 at Martinez Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 13 at the Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 14th at Martinez Funeral Home. At the family’s request, cremation has been opted. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Edward, Wowie was born in Odessa, TX to Eddie D. Hinojos and Ofelia R. Hinojos, on April 12, 1960. He went to school at Ector High School and met the love of his life, best friend, and mother of his children, Lillie Ontiveros. He worked as a shop foreman for over 20 years at Rhino Equipment.

Wowie is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Ofelia Hinojos.

Wowie is survived by his daughter Teramie L. Miller and son in law Colby E. Miller, daughter BJ Moya, and son Edward Hinojos and wife Estela Nava-Hinojos.

Sisters: Angela R. Sheets, Yolanda R. Silvas, Irene R. Hinojos, Mary H. Rivera, Ofelia H. Rivera, Rosie H. Black, Judy H. Venegas, Cecilia R. Hinojos, Armida H. Lambardia, Ida H Mahorsky, and Michelle Onviteros.

Grandchildren: ShyAnn M. Ontiveros, Zephan O. Miller, Neda O. Miller, Phabian Duran, Castiel Hinojos, JoMarie Moya, Alexia Moya, Lydia Yanez and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles who will miss him greatly.
