Clara, there's nothing I know to say to help you in your time of sorrow. However, I will offer these words of comfort found in 2 Corinthians 1 verses 3-5 says, "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation (encouragement) also aboundeth by Christ."
I pray these words will give you some peace, comfort and encouragement during this time of bereavement. I thank God for sharing Beasley with me the years He did while we were in the Marine Corps together. I will miss my dear friend, pal and buddy very much!
